Chloe’s story

As a recipient of a donor-funded NAFUM Master’s Scholarship, Chloe has experienced first-hand the transformative impact of a Manchester education.

Looking to combine her interest in writing with her background in science, Chloe was drawn to the flexibility of Manchester’s MSC Science Communications course, allowing her to shape her studies to her career ambitions.

Her scholarship gave her the confidence to accept her place at Manchester, despite the fees associated with international study.

“Having the aid pushed me to pursue an opportunity across the ocean. Moving abroad by myself was the scariest thing I’ve ever done, but I’m so glad I did. It’s shaped the rest of my life.”
